Having served this region for more than a century, we at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center (SVMC) understand that legacy is not something to rest upon—it is something to build upon. Every expansion, every technology, every strategic decision begins with a single question: What does our community need? How can we improve access to care? How can we reduce the burden of travel? How can we ensure affordability and long-term sustainability? How can we strengthen the health of the region we call home?
