Robin Sher is the Chief Financial Officer/Chief Operating Officer and Clerk to the Board of Trustees at the Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute in Williamstown, Massachusetts. Robin oversees the administrative side of the organization including finance, human resources, information technology, and sustainability, and works closely with Olivier Meslay, Hardymon Director, on the strategic and operational initiatives of the organization. As the Clerk, Robin is responsible for various administrative and governance-related tasks associated with the Board of Trustees. Robin started at the Clark more than seven years ago as the Budget and Finance Manager and was promoted to the Chief Financial Officer before assuming additional administrative duties.

Prior to joining the Clark, Robin worked as the Director of Finance and Administration at both Ronald McDonald House of Houston and Camp For All, a non-profit organization based in Burton, Texas. Robin served in comparable positions at several for-profit companies in Houston, Texas before entering the non-profit sector. Robin received her bachelor’s degree in business administration and management from the University of Colorado in Boulder, and her MBA from the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University. Robin currently serves on the Finance Committee of Williamstown Rural Lands and is a past board member of Girls on the Run, Houston, Texas.
