Our infusion unit
Our unit is a bright, airy space with up to 8 infusion chairs available in 4 rooms. For patients infusing for long periods of time, we recommend bringing a book or reading material. We encourage patients to bring a light snack or beverage with them to their appointment.
Before your infusion
We will always take the time to discuss infusion expectations and provide necessary information and education to patients at the time of first dose. If you have any questions specific to your treatment or plan of care, we encourage you to contact your ordering provider prior to your appointment at infusion center.
Many of the biologics that we provide require that you not be actively sick at time of infusion. That means if you receive a biologic and have any fevers or infections, cough, nausea, or new rashes or wounds, you should check with your provider prior to coming in or simply reschedule by calling our Infusion Scheduling number.
We hope that this information is helpful for you in preparing for your infusion. Many of our patients come for life-long treatments and we hope to gain your trust and confidence throughout our time together.
If you have any nursing questions or concerns, you can reach the infusion nurses by calling the Infusion Nurses number.
